Nicholas began his legal career at the Miami-Dade County State Attorney’s Office, where he served as a prosecutor handling some of the county’s most high-profile and complex criminal cases. He quickly rose to become the head prosecutor of the Narcotics Unit, trying cases involving Attempted Murders, Drug Trafficking, Armed Robberies, Aggravated Batteries, DUIs, and other felony and misdemeanor offenses. His tenure gave him a deep understanding of the criminal justice system from both sides of the courtroom.
